Kingdom 2: Far and Away (Japanese: キングダム2 遥かなる大地へ, Hepburn: Kingudamu 2 Harukanaru Daichi e) is a 2022 Japanese historical war film directed by Shinsuke Sato. An adaptation of the manga of the same name by Yasuhisa Hara , the film is the sequel to Kingdom (2019).
Production took place in Japan, and the filming occurred in China and Japan during April 2018. [3] [4] On April 18, 2018, Hara tweeted a movie-ized cover illustration promoting the manga's move to the big screen. [5] A trailer was released by Sony Pictures on January 16, 2019.
